With extensive expertise in strategy, finance, and business development, supported by a Master’s in Accounting and the prestigious CMI certificate, he has consistently demonstrated strong financial acumen and visionary leadership.

Driven by his passion to deliver high-quality financial and advisory services, Mr. Lawati established Leaderly in 2023, which has since provided a comprehensive range of solutions including audit, accounting, secondments, taxation, and advisory.

Deepika is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) UK, holding diplomas in Transfer Pricing and Value Added Tax.

With over 20 years of professional experience across industries including oil and gas, refining, FMCG, and audit, she has developed deep expertise in direct and indirect taxation. In 2023, she joined Leaderly as a Tax Partner, bringing her extensive expertise to lead and expand the firm’s tax practice. Having spent more than 13 years working within Oman’s taxation framework, she regularly represents clients before the Ministry of Finance and provides support with tax assessments, appeals, compliance requirements, tax due diligence, and health checks.

Her strong technical knowledge, coupled with extensive industry experience, enables her to deliver practical tax solutions and ensure the successful completion of client projects.

Mahmoud is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) in the UK.

He began his career at Lloyds Banking Group as a Finance Manager, where he developed strong accounting, financial management, and analytical skills in one of the UK’s largest retail banks.

In 2019, Mahmoud became a partner at an accountancy firm in the UK, focusing on SMEs and providing accountancy, auditing, and tax services across sectors such as retail, restaurants, property development, and more.

In 2024, he joined Leaderly as a key partner, bringing his extensive expertise to drive the firm’s SME advisory practice.

At Leaderly, Mahmoud plays a central role in helping businesses optimize performance, improve compliance, and achieve sustainable growth, offering hands-on financial and strategic guidance that goes beyond traditional accounting services.

Ms. Sherry holds a Master of E-MBA from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, with a specialization in Strategic Management.

She brings over 10 years of experience in business and financial consulting. She also has 5 years of extensive experience in strategic marketing, having served as Head of International Marketing at AQR.

She joined Leaderly in 2023 and has been part of the firm from its inception, playing a key role in strategically positioning the company in both audit and taxation. In September 2025, she coordinated with Oman Economic Review (OER) to audit the financials of public listed company for “Alam Al Iktisaad” event and has also collaborated with the Oman American Business Council.

With her strong mathematical expertise and being a multi-talented, quick learner, Sherry also assists clients with tax-related filings, feasibility studies, and business planning, combining technical skill with strategic insight to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

Rawnaq holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Aston University, United Kingdom.

She began her career with 10 months of experience in Accounts Payable at OQ before joining Leaderly in 2024, where she has quickly become a key member of the Tax Department. Over the past two years at Leaderly, she has managed VAT compliance for more than 25 entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full regulatory adherence. She has also guided clients through complex tax queries, prepared robust responses, and assisted with objections, safeguarding clients’ financial and regulatory interests.

At Leaderly, Rawnaq leverages her ability to quickly master new regulations and translate them into practical business solutions, confidently handling a wide range of taxation matters. From corporate tax considerations to indirect VAT challenges, she consistently demonstrates technical expertise, client-focused problem solving, and a commitment to excellence.

Deepika commenced her professional experience in 2002, working with both the Public and the Private sectors in various facets of industry like Oil and gas (Schlumberger), Refinery and distribution (Shell), FMCG (Kodak & SuperMax) & Statutory Audits and tax (Morisson Menon & Grant Thornton). Deepika has over 20 years of professional experience and 13 years with Oman's Direct Taxation and international and indirect tax laws. She represents clients at the Ministry of Finance for any tax-related matters within the Sultanate of Oman. She has been assisting clients in preparing responses to various tax queries and other matters related to tax assessments and appeals. Deepika also possesses specialization in VAT compliance during her last 3-year tenure in Oman for VAT Impact, implementation, and return preparation.
